About me

With empathy and compassion, I provide online and in-person individual, couples, and group therapy. With my 20+ years of experience working with youth and adults in a client-centered approach, I am able to quickly create a safe and comfortable therapy setting. I believe we are a function of “what happened to us”. It is through therapy, awareness, and curiosity, that one can then have a better understanding of themself. This process often allows for meaningful relationships with others. I welcome the privilege of being part of your journey and building a therapeutic relationship with you.

Life can often be difficult. We will work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and ways of being that contribute to your current issues. We will also reflect on your past experiences to shape new ways of being and relating to others.

My aim is to help you live a better life that is more fulfilling. The therapeutic relationship is central to the healing process, as it acts as an instrument for understanding and creating a new relational experience.

My approach using psychodynamic psychotherapy helps to uncover the patterns impacting our behaviour. The ultimate goal is to understand how behaviour and mood are influenced by thoughts and feelings. Together we will work to increase awareness and explore the past as it presents today. I also pull from family systems, CBT, and DBT depending on your needs and goals.
